Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The title of the manuscript has been written effectively, and the affiliates' and author's addresses have been written in full.
- All papers submitted to Jurnal Manajemen Hutan Tropika should be written in English. Authors whose English is not their native language are encouraged to have their paper checked before submission for grammar and clarity.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The primary reference is a text that has been published in the latest scientific journal (10 years). It is in at least 15 scientific journals, which constitute a minimum of 80% of the total references used. The names of journals should not be abbreviated.
- Conclusions are written with excellent plumbing techniques (brief, clear, qualitative, and generic) and written in a single paragraph, not in the form of pointers.
- The number of words in the abstract is 190 to 200 words, and the number of keywords is 4 to 5 words.
- Analyses are conducted deeply and follow the scholarship development, and the manuscript has a strong synthesis.
- The substance of the manuscript is in accordance with the JMHT domain. The importance of the manuscript's topic, which supports the field of forest management, is explained in the Introduction chapter.
- Chapter formation, the writing of table titles and drawings, and the writing of library references are in accordance with the Jurnal Manajemen Hutan Tropika format (APA style modified).
- The author's agreement declaration that has been filled out must be included in the submission in PDF file format.
- An ethics and anti-plagiarism statement that has been filled out must be included in the submission in PDF file format.
- The author(s) is/are required to use the JMHT article template provided for submission.
- Jurnal Manajemen Hutan Tropika applies double-blind review, which means any information of authors must be hidden from the article’s file. Therefore, please check the properties of the file and hide the author information by checking/unchecking the information to be hidden before sending the article’s file.
- A disclosure statement that has been filled out must be included in the submission in PDF file format.
- The Authors Contribution Statement that has been filled out must be included in the submission in PDF file format.
- The text is 1.5-spaced, uses a 12-point font, employs italics rather than underlining (except with URL addresses), and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed at the end at the appropriate points, rather than within the text. Photo illustrations are delivered in soft copy with excellent quality (if any), and graphic illustrations are presented with raw data (if any). The article file upload size limit is 5 MB. Please send illustrations in a different file if, together with the main text, their size exceeds 5 MB.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which are found in About the Journal.
- Derivative content generated from published scientific articles will be disseminated by the JMHT Editorial Team. The author’s name and the original article source will always be cited as a form of recognition for the author's scientific contribution.
